Travel advice and travel health consultations are available for both registered and non-registered patients. These consultations are with our Practice nurses who have special travel advice training.
All patients must participate in a Travel Consultation and provide their full vaccination history and travelitinerary prior to proceeding withvaccination.
A travel consultation charge isapplicable tonon subscribing patientsto reviewmedical information and recommend vaccinations for travel. Recommendations are made in accordance with guidance from Public Health England.
We are a designated Yellow Fever centre and offer a full range of travel vaccinations. We can also screen patients who frequently fly, especially to long haul destinations for thrombophilia (a condition that predisposes to the development of deep vein thrombosis).
SIMP alsoprovides a full vaccination service, including annual flu vaccinations, Meningitis B, Chicken Pox, Shingles, BCGand Pertussis (whooping cough)immunisations. Please see different vaccinations available.
